E.M.C.

The 1st level university Master’s degree in E.M.C. is aimed at training and updating the Emergency Manager Coordinator, the professional figure dedicated to the coordination of crises and emergencies.

Within the coordination centres, crisis units and operations rooms, public and private decision rooms, in compliance with the operational procedures and intervention models described in the safety, emergency, hospital maxi-inflow, company business continuity, civil protection and defense plans at local and territorial level, the Emergency Manager Coordinator works to protect life, property, settlements, animals and the environment from damage or the danger of damage resulting from disasters at a local or territorial level and can collaborate with national and European civil protection and defense organisations, to improve the emergency management of their structure, both public and private.

The Master in E.M.C. has as its training objectives the complex of theoretical and methodological knowledge and instrumental cognitive supports of a technical-scientific-operational nature, to express oneself with adequate skills in coordination functions
